Dr. Lawson is an avid researcher and her latest pursuit is to become an expert in diagnosing and treating Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS). CIRS is an emerging epidemic and over 80% of CIRS cases are the result of patients living or working in water-damaged buildings. She has already successfully treated several patients with CIRS by closely folllowing Dr. Shoemakers evidence-based protocols and she is currently nearing completion of a Certification program with the world reknowned author, researcher and educator, Ritchie Shoemaker, MD. He is largely responsible for much of the modern body of knowledge and evidence in diagnosing and treating CIRS.
The founding of Proactive Wellness Centers, PLC reflects Dr. Lawson's passion to create and implement a practice that focuses on patient individuality, a high level of doctor-patient interaction and comprehensive patient education. When combined with her passion for continuous research, this approach helps patients achieve the optimal health they deserve.
